Ocampos returns to Seville to receive treatment

Lucas Ocampos has cut short his international participation with Argentina to return to Seville, where he will receive treatment for some discomfort.

The Sevilla No.5 played well in the Albiceleste's win over Brazil, but he will now be unable to face Uruguay in Tel Aviv on Monday.

Ocampos is suffering from "discomfort in the pyramidal muscle in his left leg," Argentina's statement read.

The 25-year-old only joined Sevilla in the summer but he has already become a vital player for Julen Lopetegui, playing in 12 LaLiga Santander matches and scoring five goals, whilst also providing one assist.

Sevilla's first match after the international break will be a clash away at Real Valladolid on Sunday, November 24 at 21:00 CET.
