Recreativo Huelva looked to be on course for an upset in the Copa del Rey as they welcomed LaLiga Santander side Osasuna to their Segunda B stadium, but they were ultimately defeated after extra time.

Jorge Morcillo got the lower league team off to an ideal start with a goal inside of the first quarter of an hour and things got even better before the break as Facundo Roncaglia turned the ball into his own net on the stroke of half time.

Osasuna didn't look much better after the break either, coming out to a slow start in the second period.

It was only late on in the game as tired legs set in for the hosts that they fought their way back into the tie, with Darko Brasanac pulling one back.

Chimy Avila then saved the day with a late equaliser with only seven minutes left to take the game to extra time, with Osasuna finally beginning to dominate.

Veteran midfielder Inigo Perez used his experience in the additional 30 minutes to find a winner with 111 minutes having been played, earning a spot in the last 16 for the top flight team.
