Real Sociedad forward Mikel Oyarzabal has joined in with Sergio Ramos, Dani Ceballos and others by stating his desire to compete at both the European Championship and Olympic Games next summer.

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) plans to use as many of last summer's victorious European Under-21 Championship squad in Tokyo, but some of the big names have also put themselves forward to go to the Olympics.

"I'd like to be at the European Championship and the Olympic Games," Oyarzabal told Radio MARCA and Cope's El Partidazo.

Speaking about his own role, he seemed happy to play wherever he's needed for Spain.

"If Robert Moreno decided to put me as centre-forward then I'll do my best," he said.

Martin Odegaard has shone with Real Sociedad this season and his teammate in San Sebastian only had good things to say about him.

"He's as good as they say," Oyarzabal revealed, "he's different.

"He likes to have the ball and play a prominent role."
