Paco Lopez: Levante can beat any team in one match

Levante's last game against Barcelona may have ended in a 5-0 thrashing, but Paco Lopez remains confident regarding the upcoming Copa del Rey encounter between the two sides.

The 51-year-old coach has indicated that his team will aim to be competitive in both legs against the Blaugrana.

"We will try to make fewer mistakes than in that last game," he said at a press conference prior to the first leg.

"It serves as a reference, but our mentality is going to be the same.

"Taking into account that we play on Sunday morning and we play again next Thursday there will be changes for sure.

"We want to get two competitive line-ups to try to win both games.

"We want to have people fresh, but we want to get the best possible team.

"I approach the Barcelona game as if it were a league match.

"Barcelona are a great team, but in one match we can beat any team."

The first leg at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia will kick off on Thursday at 21:30 CET.
