On July 7th, after the Paraguayan government strongly condemned and opposed the Paraguayan senator's remarks about Mbappe, the congresswoman remained fully aggressive, stating in an interview, "Don't underestimate me. I can take you to court."
The Paraguayan congresswoman said: "If he is literate, let him read the letter I wrote to him in Spanish and French. I want to tell him, beware of Paraguayans, don't mess with Paraguayans, Mbappe. We even put that corrupt Ronaldinho in prison. Don't underestimate me, Mbappe; I will sue you. Go find a lawyer, they will tell you that I will win this lawsuit. He must apologize to me, and I reserve the right to take legal action."
Paraguayan congresswoman Amarilla pointed her finger at the football establishment. "I want to tell Dominguez and Harrison, control your players. You made a fortune from the players of the Paraguayan national team; with this money, you will eventually come and compete with us in the general election, because you are determined to be the president of the republic."
"I want to remind the people of Paraguay, when that day comes, please remember my words, they come with money from the football world, money obtained through bribing the FIFA World Cup hosting rights, which is the kind of shady deal exposed in the 'FIFA scandal'."
"This is not just a personal matter between Mbappe and me. Behind political power, there is a powerful interest group, attempting to exert control everywhere, accumulate more wealth, and seize political power."
