At a press conference on Friday, former Barcelona player Pedro said Guardiola was “like a father” to him as he explained his reasons for retiring.
Pedro said, “Guardiola was like a father to me and also my mentor. He corrected me more than anyone else, and that’s where I started. At that time, you realize the caliber of many coaches. He was very important in helping me develop my style of play.”
