According to Mundo Deportivo, 18-year-old midfielder Pedro Rodriguez, who renewed his Barcelona contract until 2030 last week, spoke about his ambitions in an interview with the club.
Rodriguez stated: "It's been my lifelong dream to play for the best club in the world, a dream I've had since childhood. I hope to stay at this club for as long as possible and one day achieve my goal of breaking into the first team."
This season, Rodriguez is playing for both Barcelona Atlètic (competing in Group 2 of Segunda Federación) and the Juvenil A team (participating in the UEFA Youth League).
"This is a competition we want to win—it's our goal. We are Barcelona and we must be at the top. After losing the first match to Feyenoord, we needed this victory," he said.
