Famous reporter Romano and German Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg had a war of words over RB Leipzig striker Yann-Dionande's transfer to Real Madrid, with Plettenberg once again posting on social media to hit back at Romano.

Plettenberg wrote: "Glad to know (for me and others) that you are willing to share private messages and internal conversations. This is a truly pathetic turn. Unlike you, I will keep our conversations confidential. You used to be a role model for many, and for me too. Unfortunately, not anymore. I am grateful to be a role model for others. If he really wears the number 10 shirt, I will send you a shirt with personal information printed on it. Meanwhile, I will check if there are any Guehi shirts still on sale at Anfield. That's your 'Here we go', right?"
"One more thing: in my understanding, 'want' does not equal 'need' or 'demand'. Thank goodness, the Wirtz story has long been settled. You will know the rest of the truth from elsewhere someday. Your biggest problem to this day is: anything you don't know or don't control is automatically wrong or never happened. Thank goodness, you are not omniscient. To this day, I still don't see what's so special about that number 10 news. But I'm always happy to learn. Good luck, legend."
Romano reported with his iconic "Here we go" that Dionande was about to join Real Madrid, but Plettenberg insisted the agreement had not been reached, after which the two began to verbally attack each other. After Romano hit back at Plettenberg with the news of Wirtz wearing the Liverpool number 10 shirt (Sky Germany had reported that Wirtz wanted the Liverpool number 10 shirt, but Wirtz later issued a statement on social media denying it), Plettenberg hit back with Romano's failed "Here we go" report about Guehi joining Liverpool (last summer, Romano had reported with his iconic "Here we go" that Guehi would join Liverpool, but the transfer failed because Crystal Palace could not find a replacement, and Guehi joined Manchester City in the winter window this year).
