Public tickets for Barça’s Camp Nou training: nearly 12,000 sold in hours

Ticket sales for Friday's historic training session at the Spotify Camp Nou saw a significant increase on Sunday, coinciding with the opening of the sales process to the general public.

In just a few hours, sales jumped from the 7,500 tickets reserved exclusively for club members for 48 hours to nearly 12,000, leading the club to be optimistic about the fan response.

From 11:00 AM on Friday until 11:00 AM on Sunday, FC Barcelona members had the opportunity to reserve their exclusive tickets for a training session led by Hansi Flick. This session will serve as a test run in preparation for the increasingly imminent opening of the Spotify Camp Nou for official matches.

The price for members and season ticket holders was €5, and approximately 7,500 tickets were sold. But it was especially when the sales process opened to the general public that the increase was considerable, given that the chance to see Barça's football stars in action, and also to see the new stadium from the inside, is a fantastic opportunity for Barça fans.

For these fans who are not members, a purchase price of €10 per ticket has been set (the proceeds will go to the FC Barcelona Foundation's charitable causes). And it's certain that requests will increase in the coming days until the limit set by the club for sales, which is 23,000 spectators, is reached. These will be located in the Tribuna and Gol Sur sections of the brand-new Barça stadium, which, logically, coincides with the sections that will open when the license for phase 1B is obtained, with a capacity of 45,000 spectators.

Although the process is currently open to the general public starting this Sunday, Barcelona members can also request their tickets if they wish.

Training next Friday will begin at 11:00 AM, and the stadium gates will open at 9:30 AM. FC Barcelona will use this session to prepare for Sunday's match against Celta Vigo.
