Rabiot turns down yet another contract offer from PSG (Paris United)

If the Ivan Rakitic saga has heated up in recent hours, so too has Adrien Rabiot's situation. PSG are insistent in their desire for the midfielder to sign a new contract whilst the player himself continues to reject whatever proposal they put on the table. It's Rabiot who holds the upper hand as his existing deal expires next summer meaning he could leave PSG on a free transfer in 2019.

According to 'Paris United', specialists when it comes to PSG, they claim Rabiot has rejected the French champions latest contract offer which came through last week. PSG offered Rabiot €7.2m per season, plus incentives, but this was turned down.

The same source claims Barça and Rabiot have an agreement in place worth €10m per season. PSG will need to get closer to that sum if they're to keep Rabiot at the club.

If the player refuses to accept any terms put forward to him by PSG, a move to Barça appears likely. However the ball is the French club's court and if they match the player's demands, he should extend his stay and continue working under Thomas Tuchel.
