Just because the international break is here doesn't mean clubs stop working.
Ernesto Valverde will have spent the last few days reflecting on Barcelona's start to the season and planning for the coming weeks and months.
It's not been an easy start to the campaign for the Blaugrana, so the Spanish coach has quite a job on his hands.
Here are some tasks Valverde should be focussing on.
Stop leaking goals
Barcelona have problems at the back. They concede too many goals and it's obvious the coach must get a grip of this situation or the Catalan club won't be able to challenge for trophies.
Fringe players
With injuries in the squad and suspensions on the horizon, Valverde will have to delve deep into his group after the international break. It's time for Junior Firpo, Samuel Umtiti and Moussa Wague to step up and the second string to support the first team.
Explain the recurring injuries
Valverde himself recognised that his Barcelona players were suffering too many recurring injuries. This is something the club must take a look at internally and they might have to change the way they work with players who are injury prone.
Show Rakitic and Alena some love
Ivan Rakitic is hurt. His role in the Barcelona squad has diminished this season and it's been especially hard to take for him given that he's been such an important part of recent successes. As for Carles Alena, he's been virtually ignored by Valverde since matchday one of LaLiga Santander.
Get the best Pique back
This isn't an easy task for Valverde. Gerard Pique seems a little distracted promoting the Davis Cup and he's not been at his best for some weeks. Recovering his form is one of the keys to greater defensive solidity and, as a result, improved results.
Work with Dembele
As Eric Abidal admitted on Sunday, there's a specific plan in place to get the best out of Ousmane Dembele. The goal is to integrate him into the Barcelona style of play - something that neither the club or he have managed to do since he joined from Borussia Dortmund.
Down Dortmund
Barcelona face their most important match of the season so far when they host Dortmund in the Champions League next week. Valverde's side must win to guarantee top spot in the group and avoid a tricky tie in the knockout stages. If they don't win, that opens the door to Inter to knock them out altogether.
