Real Madrid ‘rename’ the Santiago Bernabéu stadium

  /  autty

New times at Real Madrid without losing sight of tradition. The club has unveiled a new corporate image for the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, featuring a logo that highlights the profile of the stadium’s futuristic exterior and shortens its name from Santiago Bernabéu to simply Bernabéu, something shorter and more impactful.

This visual modernisation will accompany the various events hosted at the stadium, beginning with the arrival of the NFL this Sunday for the first American football game ever held in Spain.

The match between the Washington Commanders and the Miami Dolphins has served as the catalyst for this redesign. A preview of the new look was shared in a video released by the club to generate excitement for this historic occasion.

The Bernabéu is gaining momentum. First, the Christmas-themed Mavidad festival will take place from December 24 to 31 and is already sold out. Next, the stadium plans to resume hosting large-scale concerts, a major challenge in the past due to noise restrictions. However, as the architect of the new Bernabéu announced last week, this issue “will be resolved within the next two months.”
