RIqui Puig is confident that Barcelona will be at their best against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.

The Catalan side host PSG in the first leg of their Champions League knockout tie at the Camp Nou on Tuesday and they're coming into the clash as the in-form side.

"We're looking forward to it," Puig said of the game, speaking after Saturday's 5-1 win over Alaves.

"We're all really looking forward to facing them.

"We want to measure up against them and we're sure we'll have a great game.

"We're on a very good run. Seven straight wins in LaLiga [Santander] says a lot about how well we're doing."

Trincao has recently been enjoying his best form since joining Barcelona and Puig says he's working well in training as well.

"He deserves it because he's training very well," Puig added.

"We've pushed forward with him."

Puig himself completed 90 minutes on Saturday, which has left him feeling happy.

"I feel good, very comfortable," Puig said.

"We had control of the game.

"Everything is easier playing next to Sergio Busquets. He's helped us a lot, helping Ilaix [Moriba] and me.

"Playing 90 minutes gives you life and confidence.

"I'm very happy and I'm thankful to [Ronald] Koeman for these minutes."
