Spanish radio station Cope reporter Arancha Rodriguez stated this Sunday that Rodrygo suffered a torn cruciate ligament and meniscus since March 18, and is expected to be out for 10 to 12 months, with the earliest possible return in early 2027.
Militao suffered a hamstring injury on April 21, and is expected to be out for 4 to 5 months, with a return around September or October this year.
Real Madrid officially announced in March that Rodrygo successfully underwent surgery to treat a torn cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus in his right leg, and then began rehabilitation training.
As for Militao, he injured his left hamstring during a match against Alaves in April, and Real Madrid later confirmed that he also suffered a proximal tendon tear of this muscle.
The Brazilian defender successfully underwent surgery on April 28 and then entered the recovery phase.
Militao's injury is particularly noteworthy because he has a history of injuries; he did not return to the field until April, having previously missed nearly 4 months due to a hamstring injury, and has suffered two cruciate ligament tears since 2024.
