Ronaldo enjoys helicopter ride as Juve star makes most of Serie A winter break

He's been living the high life for most of his outstanding career and on Wednesday Cristiano Ronaldo did so... literally.

The Juventus forward is currently in Dubai with his family on holiday as he enjoys Serie A's winter break.

And the 33-year-old took in the views of the emirate city this week via helicopter.

Ronaldo did so while answering questions via Instagram live.

Juventus' summer signing looked in a relax mood as he interacted with his fans via the social media app.

Going into 2019, he will be hoping he can match the feats of 2018 after another brilliant campaign at club level.

The first half of last year saw him win a third successive Champions League title with former club Real Madrid before joining Juve - where he has helped them go nine points clear of second-placed Napoli in Serie A.

Beaten to a record-breaking sixth Ballon d'Or by former Real team-mate Luka Modric - who also won FIFA's 'The Best' award in December - Ronaldo reiterated the greater importance he places on team success.

Speaking to Record, via FourFourTwo, he said: 'I'm not obsessed with individual prizes.

'The important thing is helping the team, always, and therefore the rest arrives naturally.

I don't hide that I'm happy when I win but it's not the end of the world if it can't happen.'

One of the key reasons Ronaldo was brought to Turin was to fire Juventus to Champions League glory.

The Italian champions last lifted the trophy at the end of the 1995-96 season when they overcame Ajax but with Ronaldo lifting it in four of the last five campaigns, he is seen as the piece of the jigsaw that Massimiliano Allegri's side have been missing.
