Bayern Munich President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge reveals Die Roten plan to discuss a permanent move for Ivan Perisic with Inter and hails the ‘reliable’ Croatian.
The German champions prepare to face Lyon in the semi-finals of the Champions League and Inter loanee Perisic has played a vital part in Bayern’s success this season.
President Rummenigge confirmed the winger has convinced the hierarchy at Allianz Arena in 2019-20 and reveals coach Hansi Flick is ‘counting on the lad’ for next season.
“I like Perisic a lot,” he told Bild. “He is very efficient, and his stats are very good.
“Every time he plays, he’s productive. Ivan may not always be spectacular, but very reliable.”
“We want to finish the Champions League and then we will return to the subject. The coach is counting on the lad.”
