According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona forward Raphinha has started the season in outstanding form, scoring 5 goals in the first three La Liga matches. If he scores again in the next round, he will equal the club's record for consecutive goals scored across multiple matches.

Raphinha is Barcelona's standout performer in attack this season, having scored 5 league goals, followed by Fermín with 3 goals, Lamine Yamal with 2 goals, and Adeyemi with 1 goal. With one more La Liga match to play, the Brazilian forward is on the verge of achieving a historic record that few have managed in the club's history.

He has scored in the first three consecutive matches: two goals against Elche, one goal against Athletic Bilbao, and two goals against Rayo Vallecano. Only 13 players in Barcelona's history have scored in the first three rounds of the season, and even fewer have scored in five consecutive matches.

Three players have scored in four consecutive opening matches: Kubala (1953-54 season, 8 goals across matches against Real Sociedad, Jaén, Valladolid, and Sporting Gijón), Cayetano Re (1964-65 season, 5 goals against Las Palmas, Atlético Madrid, Deportivo, and Murcia), and Cesc Fàbregas (2011-12 season, 4 goals across matches against Villarreal, Real Sociedad, Osasuna, and Valencia). Two players have scored in five consecutive matches: César Rodríguez (1950-51 season, 8 goals across matches against Real Sociedad, Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid, Murcia, and Valencia) and Zlatan Ibrahimović (2009-10 season, 5 goals across matches against Sporting Gijón, Getafe, Atlético Madrid, Santander, and Málaga), the latter being the first player to achieve this feat in his debut La Liga season.

In the 21st century, Messi is the only player to have scored in four consecutive official matches at the start of the season. In the 2011-12 season, he scored in the Spanish Super Cup (3 goals across two matches against Real Madrid), the UEFA Super Cup (1 goal against Porto), and the first La Liga round (2 goals against Villarreal). In the 2012-13 season, he scored consecutively in the Spanish Super Cup (2 goals against Real Madrid) and La Liga (2 goals against Real Sociedad and 2 goals against Osasuna).

In the first three La Liga matches this season, Raphinha scored 5 goals. In the opening match against Elche, Barcelona won 5-0 away, with Raphinha and Fermín López each scoring two goals and Adeyemi adding one. In the second match against Athletic Bilbao, Barcelona won 2-0, with Raphinha and Fermín López each scoring one goal. In the third match against Rayo Vallecano, Raphinha scored another two goals, Yamal scored his first two goals of the season, and Barcelona's fifth goal came from an own goal by Lejeune.
