Sancho to receive ticking-off after HUGGING Hakimi during goal celebration

Jadon Sancho will receive a ticking-off after starring in Borussia Dortmund’s 2-0 win at Wolfsburg.

The England winger set up Achraf Hakimi for Dortmund’s second goal but then jumped into the goalscorer’s arms to celebrate.

And that’s likely to result in a reprimand from football chiefs in Germany determined to stamp out exuberant goal celebrations.

The German FA warned clubs before last week’s Bundesliga resumption that hugging after goals would not be tolerated.

They were horrified when Hertha Berlin ignored that advice by celebrating every goal in last week’s 3-0 win at Hoffenheim.

Sancho has now provided 16 assists this season — only Bayern Munich veteran Thomas Muller has managed more.

The 20-year-old Londoner, who has scored 14 goals this season, is also the first player to be directly involved in 30 goals in Germany’s top flight.

Only Lionel Messi and Lazio’s Ciro Immobile have also been directly involved in 30 goals in Europe’s big leagues this season.
