Saudi Arabia have expressed an interest in hosting the Supercopa de Espana, just as they have done with the Supercoppa Italiana.
Khalid bin Sultan Al Faisal Al Saud, president of the country's Motor Sports Federation, confirmed that the country would be keen to hosts the event.
"We would like to bring it in," he said to EFE at the presentation of the Dakar rally, ahead of it being held there in 2020.
"We're fans of sports and football is number one.
"We've already welcomed Italian teams and we'd like to do the same for other countries as well."
The last edition of the competition was held in Tangier, Morocco.
