Second half onslaught sees Sevilla thrash Levante

  /  autty

Sevilla blew Levante away in the second half of their meeting at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan by winning 5-0, with each goal coming after the break.

The first arrived three minutes after the interval when Wissam Ben Yedder found the back of the net before an incredible symmetry with each of the next four goals.

All arrived in 10 minute intervals, starting with Andre Silva's strike on the hour mark, before Franco Vazquez chipped in with the third on 70 minutes.

Ten minutes later, Pablo Sarabia got in on the act and the scoring was completed shortly before the final whistle thanks to the fifth different scorer when Quincy Promes netted.

The move sees Pablo Machin's men move back into third place in the table, albeit temporarily ahead of Real Madrid's weekend clash against Espanyol on Sunday night.
