Some very well known guests at Sergio Busquets' goodbye

The football world was by Sergio Busquets' side at his farewell ceremony. Nobody wanted to miss it, either in person or remotely, as Leo Messi and Del Bosque contributed with a video, as did former teammates like Bartra, Thiago or Pedro.

The first to arrive were the training coaches, Jordi Roura and Aureli Altimira. Also early were members of Luis Enrique's staff, psychologist Joaquín Valdés and physical trainer Rafael Pol. They were joined by Juan Carlos Unzué and his son, Aitor. Lucho was the only one missing.

The current Spain coach, Luis de la Fuente, was there to see the man who would have been his captain, along with the national team director, Albert Luque.

Xavi Hernández was there with his staff. Also present were coaches from the different sections, such as Edu Castro, from hockey, and Carlos Ortega, from handball. Sergio Lozano, captain of the futsal team, and Álex Abrines, from the basketball team, were also present, as well as the sporting director of basketball, Juan Carlos Navarro.

Madrid, too

One of the surprises was Emilio Butragueño, the director of institutional relations of Real Madrid, Barca's eternal rivals.

Of course, there were his team-mates. Jordi Alba arrived accompanied by his partner and Jules Koundé's attire was particularly eye-catching.

President Joan Laporta and his board of directors posed on the red carpet. The president joked about the negotiations with Messi, playing deaf.

Bojan Krkic and Gerard Piqué, now retired, were other notable guests who wanted to accompany their friend.

Rafa Márquez, coach of Barça Atlètic, was also there, as were his guardian angels, his representatives from Tactic Grup, led by Josep Maria Orobitg, Pep Setvalls and Gerard Autet.
