Spanish Media: Fàbregas eyes Carvajal and Gonzalo García for Champions League prep

According to the latest reports from Spanish media El Desmarque, Como is interested in acquiring Gonzalo García and Carvajal.

Como is reportedly on the cusp of a historic season, having secured Champions League qualification in the final round of the Serie A season, which undoubtedly adds to their increasingly solid team-building plans. Como hopes that Nico Paz will stay, despite reports that he is about to return to Real Madrid.

Como has once again set its sights on Real Madrid's young players, and Gonzalo García's name has appeared on their list. Although he had a stunning start to the season, starting in the Club World Cup and scoring four goals, his form subsequently declined.

With Mbappé's return, Gonzalo García lost his starting position, and both Xavi Alonso and Arbeloa stopped using him. As a result, Gonzalo García only played 950 minutes in La Liga this season, scoring 6 goals.

Endrick's return from Lyon signals Gonzalo García's departure from Real Madrid. Although many clubs have inquired about him, Como seems to be one of the most interested clubs, as Fàbregas's forward line is in urgent need of an efficient striker.

Gonzalo García's transfer market value is 30 million euros. The transfer fee to sign him can be reduced in various ways. Como wants to emulate the strategy used to sign Nico Paz, hoping to sign the Spanish striker for a lower price, for example, by offering a future transfer fee share or a buy-back clause.

Although Como's transfer strategy focuses on highly promising young players like César Palacios (they have also shown interest in Palacios), Fàbregas's team might make a final attempt to sign Carvajal.

After securing Champions League qualification, Fàbregas also hopes to rely on experienced players. Carvajal's name has appeared on the shortlist, and although there are many suitors, the idea of playing another season in Italy and European competitions might persuade Carvajal.
