According to Sport, Felix's future is once again attracting attention in Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese player has never hidden his desire to return to Barcelona, and now new suitors have emerged. Al Hilal, one of the most powerful clubs in Saudi football, has become a potential alternative to Al Nassr FC, where the forward currently plays.

The news stems from remarks made by former Al Hilal CEO Tareq Al-Tuwaijri on the "Al-Mansah" program on the Thmanyah platform. The former executive publicly expressed his hope that Felix would remain in the Saudi league and opened the door for his former club to try to sign him. He said: "First, I hope Felix does not leave the Roshn League. It would be great if Al Hilal could sign him, and the same goes for Al Ittihad and Al Ahli." His comments have fueled speculation, but as of now there are no signs of formal negotiations between the clubs.
Al Nassr FC's plans complicate the situation further. Saudi media outlet Al Riyadiah recently reported that Al Nassr FC is considering activating a unilateral clause to extend the Portuguese player's contract until June 2029. The proposal also includes a significant pay rise, from his current annual salary of 10 million euros to approximately 12.5 million euros.
Al Nassr FC's intentions conflict with the player's stated desire to regain a key role in European football. His agent, Jorge Mendes, is reportedly already looking into how to avoid this extension in order to make room for a transfer.
Barcelona has resurfaced in the discussions. Felix has fond memories of his time at Barcelona, and a return remains his personal wish. However, this possibility has not turned into concrete action, and the high financial cost is clearly an obstacle.
With Al Nassr FC's plans, Al Hilal's possible involvement, and the player's desire to return to Europe all in play, Felix's future is set to be one of the most talked-about topics in the coming months. The Barcelona dream still exists, but Saudi Arabia does not seem willing to let the Portuguese go easily.
