Son Heung-min and Denis Bouanga will look to continue their devastating attacking form for Los Angeles FC as they visit St. Louis City in MLS on Saturday.
LAFC have recorded back-to-back 4-1 victories against Real Salt Lake in their last two games, with Son scoring a hat-trick in the first match before Bouanga did the same in the second.
Three consecutive wins have also seen LAFC move up to fourth in the Western Conference, seven points behind leaders San Diego FC with two games in hand.
Son, who scored his first goal at home last time out, is looking to build on their strong performance at BMO Stadium.
“Scoring goals in front of the packed stadium is really special,” said Son after their most recent win over RSL.
“I wanted to play with the fans together, especially when [we were] 1-0 down. We needed big support from the supporters behind us.
“They did a fantastic job. And then afterwards our performance, our energy, went really up. Scoring four goals in front of a packed stadium... it was very joyous, I would say.
“And also I am very happy for Denis.”
When asked about his relationship with Son, Bouanga said: “The chemistry is very easy.
“You saw Sonny play in Europe and you see him now in MLS, it's very easy. I don't really have a way to describe it, but it's natural.
“It happened, you saw it, you see it now, and you're going to see it until the end of the season.”

Although St. Louis City are all but out of playoff contention, they are ending their campaign on the right foot.
They are unbeaten in their last three games, including wins over CF Montreal and the San Jose Earthquakes in their previous two matches.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
St. Louis City – Brendan McSorley
At San Jose last time out, McSorley became the second St. Louis player to record two goals and an assist in a single MLS match.
The only other occurrence was in the fifth match in the team’s history, when Joao Klauss did so against Real Salt Lake in 2023.
Los Angeles FC – Denis Bouanga
Bouanga has scored five career goals against St. Louis, including a pair of braces, one of which came earlier this season.
Bouanga has tallied multiple regular-season braces against three teams in his career – St. Louis, Austin FC and the LA Galaxy.
MATCH PREDICTION – LOS ANGELES FC WIN
LAFC scored four goals for a third straight match with a 4-1 win against Real Salt Lake last time out.
That is tied for the longest streak of four-goal regular-season games in MLS history, joining Inter Miami (2025), the Philadelphia Union (2022) and the New York Red Bulls (2012).
St. Louis have earned back-to-back wins for the first time since March. They are looking to record three straight wins across all competitions for the first time since June and July 2023.
St. Louis have, however, lost three of their five all-time meetings (D2) against LAFC in the regular season, while they have just one loss combined across their other 14 matches (W8 D5) against California teams.
In their last six league matches, St. Louis have won two, drawn one and lost three. LAFC, meanwhile, have won four, drawn one and lost one in their last six.
