Manchester City stars including captain Ilkay Gundogan and striker Erling Haaland were seen leaving the team hotel in Istanbul on Sunday morning as they prepared to return home to Manchester after clinching the treble.

The delighted City players were wearing their winners' medals around their necks and were all smiles as they left the hotel.

Goalkeeper Ederson was seen holding a bottle of beer as he made his way to the team bus.

Many of the City players and staff were wearing a shirt saying 'The best team in the land'.

City boss Pep Guardiola waved to supporters, while Riyad Mahrez was seen wearing sunglasses.

Rodri's goal secured victory for City against Inter Milan as they won the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Guardiola's side have matched Manchester United's side of 1999 by winning the treble after previously securing glory in the Premier League and the FA Cup.

The City players partied late into the night after their win against Inter.

Jack Grealish was seen in a nightclub celebrating the triumph, while Haaland smoked a celebratory cigar.

The celebrations will continue for City, with an open-top bus parade through Manchester set to take place on Monday.
