Suso has revealed that he “wanted to come home” to Sevilla. “I asked Milan to leave for several weeks.”

Suso joined Sevilla on loan from Milan and admitted that after a decade of playing outside of his homeland, he wanted to return home.
“I had a strong desire for this [the move] to happen, we all made an effort and now here I am,” said Suso in a press conference.
“It’s what my family and I wanted. I’ve been far from home since the age of 16 and I’ve come home at the best time, at the right time.
“I asked Milan to leave and in the last two weeks I tried not to even get called up into their squad. We put the effort in and finally I am here.
“I’m at a great club and find a coach who respects me. It’s not a problem that I haven’t played in the last three weeks, since I’ve been playing regularly for four years in which I have always been a starter.
“I’ve come to help the team improve in certain aspects and become more competitive.”
It’s believed that Suso’s deal will become permanent once he reaches a specific number of appearances for the Liga side.
