Athletic Club have announced Edin Terzic will be their head coach from next season, following Ernesto Valverde's departure.

Valverde confirmed he will leave his role at Athletic at the end of this campaign back in March, calling time on his third spell at the club after four years.
And it will be Terzic stepping into the dugout, after he signed a two-year contract with the Basque club until June 2028.
Terzic has been out of work since leaving Borussia Dortmund in June 2024, following their Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.
He took charge of the Bundesliga side for two spells, from December 2020-June 2021, before returning in May 2022.

The German took charge of 219 Dortmund games across both spells, with an average win percentage of 58.9% (W129 D41 L49).
Terzic led Dortmund to the DFB-Pokal in 2021, and also almost won the Bundesliga with the Black and Yellow in 2022-23 but missed out to Bayern Munich on goal difference after a draw on the final day.
"[Terzic] will be officially presented once the season concludes, for which four very important and exciting matches remain," Athletic said at the end of their statement announcing Terzic's signing.
Athletic currently sit eighth in LaLiga with four games left to play, and they still have an outside chance of clinching a European place.
