Antoine Griezmann announced his exit from the Spanish club, Atletico Madrid, the European team that will face the MLS stars in the summer.
The 2019 MLS All-Star Game is losing one of its biggest stars as Antoine Griezmann announced this weekend's match against Levante would be his last game as an Atletico Madrid player.
This year the All-Star Game is scheduled for July 31 at Orlando, Florida, a match that will face the Europeans against the stars of the American League, which was also an opportunity to watch Griezmann play again against LAFC captain, Carlos Vela.
The 28-year old French striker rumoured to be heading to FC Barcelona sent a goodbye message to fellow teammates and fans. "I have decided to leave, see other things, have other challenges and with great difficulty, this is what I feel, and I need, it's been five great years where I've won my first important trophies with a club."

Griezmann has been linked to the MLS in years past, specifically with David Beckham's club Inter Miami CF, he even made his love for the American sports known through social media and during an interview from last year the Frenchman said, "I want to play in MLS, I'd like to finish my career there."
