Atletico summer signing Thomas Lemar was in Madrid to undergo a medical check-up on Friday morning.
The 22-year-old, who agreed to join from Monaco in a £52million deal last month, posed for pictures while dressed in a red Atletico tee-shirt and white trousers.
Lemar was a member of the France squad who won the 2018 World Cup, although he only featured in one game — a 0-0 draw with Denmark in the group stage.
Despite his lack of minutes in Russia, Lemar was entitled to take an extended summer holiday but opted to cut it short in order to link up with his new team-mates.
He is due to join in with training after his medical at the Clinica Universidad de Navarra.
Lemar was one of three French players to commit to Atletico this summer, with Antoine Griezmann and Lucas Hernandez signing new contracts.
Attacking midfielder Lemar admitted that his international team-mates helped convince him to move to the Metropolitano Stadium.
He said: 'Atletico tracked me for a long time but I'm sure that the words of Lucas and Antoine have brought me here.
'The club was following me and when they opened the door to me, I didn't think about it.
'Griezmann has told me I will run a lot but I can't wait to get started, I've admired this team for a long time.'
Lemar landed in Madrid on Thursday night.
