Tottenham are advancing in talks over a deal worth around £60million for Manchester City winger Savinho.

Daily Mail Sport exclusively revealed last month that Spurs had resurrected their interest in the Brazilian winger.

Savinho wanted to join Tottenham last summer but the move was blocked at board level by Manchester City.

City wanted over £70m in initial talks then as they were looking to use funds towards another winger with Real Madrid's Rodrygo an option that was discussed.

They are in the market again for another winger this window with the likes of Everton's Iliman Ndiaye among players they are assessing.

Talks are ongoing over the structure of the offer which will include add-ons and bonuses.

Tottenham are in the process of strengthening their squad for Roberto de Zerbi.

Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson have joined on free transfers and they are discussing a £40m deal for Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke who has made it clear he wishes to link up with de Zerbi.

Spurs have had two bids for the Netherlands centre back rejected but are hopeful a third can be successful. Liverpool had discussed a £35m offer last summer with Brighton.

Further signings are planned as discussions continue with other targets.
