Tottenham news: The latest Spurs headlines and gossip with stories on Harry Kane, transfer options and updates from pre-season in Australia.
Your morning Tottenham digest on Sunday, July 23.
Triple transfer chance
Tottenham can take a step towards convincing Harry Kane to remain at the club this summer with their transfer activity in the next six weeks. Not only is it a defining period for Daniel Levy as he attempts to keep hold of the striker, Ange Postecoglou is looking to build the foundations of his team.
Having already dipped into the market to sign Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison and Manor Solomon, there is work still to be done. It is unlikely to be enough to prove to Kane just how ambitious Spurs are and their newest targets reflect a different approach.
They are looking at Conor Gallagher as a potential midfield option, football.london understands, but are also going elsewhere for defenders this summer with Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba both key targets. Get that trio and maybe just maybe Kane could change his approach.
New Kane deal
Harry Kane has signed a new boot sponsorship deal, football.london understands. The England captain was seen in a pair of blacked out boots during pre-season training rather than his favoured bright Nike boots.
His deal with the sportswear giants has come to an end and he is now sporting a pair with blacked out logos before a new deal with another company is announced in the near future.
That was spotted on the tour of Australia as well as a clue to the line-up when it comes to facing Leicester as well as some love for Yves Bissouma from the boss.

Press conference stunt
There was a strange moment at Ange Postecoglou's pre-match press conference as the new manager was once more questioned over Kane's future.
At a fan Q&A he said: "I certainly hope [Kane will be at Spurs when the season starts]. Again it's one of those things where when you're in this role I've learned that you've got to deal with the certainties that are before you, because if you start thinking about what happens if that happens and that happens, there are too many things that can be floating in the air at any time, where you lose focus on what's the most important thing."
It was a question from a German reporter that got the attention, though, as he was asked what he thought to a Bayern Munich jersey with Kane's name on the back as he spoke ahead of facing Leicester.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," he replied. "Did you get a good laugh for it? Got what you came to get? Maybe? Very good. You came a long way for that, thank you."
