UPDF have confirmed partying company with assistant coach Paul Kiwanuka.
The statement on the club official media pages revealed the experienced tactician leaves with immediate effect alongside defensive coach Denis Oweka.
“UPDF FC confirms that First Assistant Coach Kiwanuka Paul and Defensive Coach Oweka Denis have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect,” read part of the statement before also confirming ex-player and Ugandan international Musa Mudde has joined the technical staff.
“Mudde Musa has joined the assistant coaching team, while Juma Nasur will reinforce the goalkeeping department.”
UPDF have had an abysmal first round in the premier league and remains in the bottom two with only 11 points and must show more intent in the second round to survive the drop.
Alex Gitta remains as head coach ahead of the second round that begins next week with the army side hosting Buhimba United Saints on Friday February 13.
