The Argentine striker made a surprise appearance last night on the pitch at the Blaugrana stadium.

It took everyone by surprise. And when we say everyone, we mean everyone. Leo Messi posted images on his Instagram account of his night-time visit to Spotify Camp Nou, and FC Barcelona confirmed that no one had been warned about the Argentine's appearance at the Blaugrana stadium.
The Inter Miami footballer stopped by the Catalan capital last night, taking advantage of the fact that he will be training with the Argentine national team in Algorfa, Alicante, to prepare for a friendly match against Angola on Friday 14 November at 9 p.m. in Luanda.
The former Barça footballer accompanied the images with a very personal and emotional text in which he explains that "last night I returned to a place that I miss with all my heart. A place where I was immensely happy, where you made me feel a thousand times like the happiest person in the world."
A mystery
The historic Barça number 10 also leaves the door open to a return to Spotify Camp Nou, and not just to say goodbye to the Barça fans: "I hope that one day I can return, and not just to say goodbye as a player, as I never got to do...", he concludes in his message on Instagram.
However, the news that Leo Messi was at Spotify Camp Nou reached the heart of the Barça club this morning with the publication of images of the star on his official Instagram account. In fact, it is still unknown how he was able to access the stadium.
It should not be forgotten that Camp Nou was closed to everyone until last Friday, 7th November, when the club reopened its doors on a trial basis to host an open training session with 23,000 seats available for fans.
