Who is the best player of last week? We name 5+1 candidates based on their ratings & performances. Please vote for the player who impressed you most last week.

PSG's Kylian Mbappe, Napoli's Fabian Ruiz, Wolfsburg's Wout Weghorst, Manchester City's Raheem Sterling, Barcelona's Messi & Lyon Women's Hegerberg are the nominees for our All Football Player of the Week, with five of them included in our All Football Team of the Week.

Fabian Ruiz (Napoli)

Fabian Ruiz fired in-form Napoli romped to a 4-1 win over Champions League-chasing Inter on Sunday evening with 2 goals and a assist.

A truly excellent performance from Fabian, who ran the show from start to finish for Napoli out on the left flank.

The Spaniard was at the heart of everything for Gli Azzurri and his late brace was the least he deserved. Special mentions must also go out to the likes of Zielinski and Kevin Malcuit, who also out in impressive performances on the night.

Wout Weghorst (Wolfsburg)

Wout Weghorst scored a hat-trick to help Wolfsburg ran riot against Augsburg on the final day of 2018/19, with a 8-1 win securing their place in the UEFA Europa League group stage next season.

Weghorst has scored 17 goals this season, including 11 since the winter break, with three braces and two hat-tricks.

The only Wolfsburg players to do that (two hat-tricks in one season) were Dzeko and Grafite in the title-winning season 2008-09.

Kylian Mbappe (PSG)

Kylian Mbappe returned to action for PSG against Dijon on Saturday and scored twice in the penultimate match of the season on Saturday, making him the first player to net 32 goals since 1966.

Kylian Mbappé is the first player ever to win both the UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year in the same season.

And he also became the first player to win UNFP Young Player of the Year in three consecutive seasons.

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)

Sterling hit double to secure Manchester City's unprecedented domestic treble in a 6-0 victory over Watford in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

Sterling capping off a fine season with a performance many have come to expect. Tore Watford to pieces in the second half with a smart brace.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona)

Lionel Messi scored twice as Barcelona drew 2-2 with SD Eibar in the final matchday of the 2018-19 La Liga season.

Messi's 36 goals gave him his sixth Pichichi, the trophy given to the league's leading scorer. Messi is now tied with legendary Telmo Zarra for the all-time record of most Pichichi's.

The brace also helped the Argentine legend (602) overtake Cristiano Ronaldo's all-time club record (601) of goals scored.

Ada Hegerberg (Lyon)

Fourth straight Champions League title! Extraordinary Lyon & sensational Hegerberg.

Norwegian Ada Hegerberg fired Olympique Lyon to an unprecedented fourth straight Women's Champions League title with a 16-minute hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Barcelona in Saturday's final at Budapest's Groupama Arena.

Now, Ada Hegerberg has scored more goals in her career than she has played games with 255 goals in 254 games.

Feel free to leave your thoughts and suggestions in the comments section. The winner of the vote will be announced tomorrow.
