Wednesday night's 3-0 Clasico win at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium holds significant importance for Barcelona head coach, Ernesto Valverde. The boss has now overseen 100 games as the Blaugrana manager.

Two weeks ago, Valverde renewed his contract with the club until the end of the 2019/2020 season with an option to extend his stay for one more year. As the boss has just reached his century at Barcelona, we take a look at his figures during this (almost) two-season spell:

Out of the total 100 games, Barcelona have won 68 times, drawn 23 and lost just nine matches which makes Valverde's winning percentage up to 68%. The Catalan giants have netted a total of 241 goals during this run and conceded only 80. Curiously, Lionel Messi leads in both goalscoring and assist-providing charts with 79 and 33 respectively.

Even though he has been at the club since the summer of 2017, he has already managed to win three trophies, including the crucial domestic double last season. The Catalan giants scooped both La Liga and Copa del Rey. At the beginning of the current campaign, Barca won the Spanish Supercup as they defeated Sevilla 2-1.

Last season, Valverde's Barcelona were close to becoming the Invincible team in La Liga. Unfortunately, they suffered a surprise 5-4 defeat at Levante in the penultimate game of the campaign.

Valverde is often criticised for his somewhat dull playing style which is incorporable to Pep Guardiola's spectacular 'tiki-taka'. However, the boss managed to cope with Neymar's surprising departure at the very beginning of his Camp Nou tenure. He has also managed to make a better man out of Ousmane Dembele. The Frenchman was instrumental in two Barca goals the Catalans scored past Real Madrid in Copa Clasico.
