According to Marca, Valverde is continuing his full return to the team after suffering a double accident involving Tchouaméni, sustaining a head injury, and undergoing a precautionary hospital check. Today, he completed some parts of team training with his teammates.

Marca reported that this double incident previously caused concern within the club and resulted in each player being fined 500,000 euros. The team immediately initiated the regular medical protocol for such injuries, including rest and specialized monitoring, to avoid any risks. Real Madrid internally anticipated an absence of 10 to 14 days at the time.

During the morning training session, Valverde completed some training content with his teammates. He participated in low-intensity drills such as rondos and finishing shots, but strictly followed the instructions of the medical team, avoiding any training segments that could involve physical contact or impact.

Regarding the rest of the team, the club's objective is clear: to strictly adhere to the medical protocol's timelines before allowing his full return. Valverde's recovery is progressing positively, but he still needs to await final approval from the medical team. In this situation, if he passes the final assessment, he could still be included in the squad list for the next match against Athletic Bilbao.

As for other players, Lunin has not yet returned due to a viral infection; while Huijsen has recovered from similar symptoms and trained normally with the team at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium for the second-to-last La Liga away match against Sevilla. Mendy, Militão, Güler, and Rodrygo continue with individualized training, progressing according to their respective recovery plans, with no significant abnormalities reported at present.
