Viniucs Jr's entourage are annoyed that the Saudi Pro League are yet to make an offer with the ongoing links potentially having a negative influence on the Real Madrid star's image.

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move to the Middle East, but no offer has been lodged and the player himself isn't looking to quit the La Liga champions. Viniciur's contract doesn't expire until 2027 but already there is talk of what he'll do next.

The forward is more likely to extend his contract at Madrid than make a potential move to Saudi Arabia, as per ESPN, despite reports suggesting otherwise in Spain.

Those in Saudi Arabia reportedly want to make the Brazilian the highest-paid player in the world, but there has been little development beyond that speculation with no offer being tabled to Vinicius, who is having to deal with the continued noise around his future.

Vinicius has not issued a specific figure to the hierarchy at the Bernabeu but the player wants to receive higher wages than Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham.

He was in the hunt for the Ballon d'Or last year, but was pipped by Rodri after he and his Real team-mates refused to attend the ceremony in protest. The player himself has insisted he remains happy in the Spanish capital and wants to extend with Los Blancos.

Vinicius told TNT Sports Brazil: "It's very exciting to have conversations with Real Madrid about my renewal. I have a contract until 2027, but I've always said that I want to continue playing here after so much time and making history. I've received the affection of the fans, the president, the coaching staff, all the players. My wish is to be here longer and God willing, in the next few days all the negotiations will be resolved to spend much more time here."

Despite Vinicius' admission that he wants to stay his manager Carlo Ancelotti would have no gripes if he chose to leave Madrid and pursue the riches available in Saudi Arabia - which has been done in the past by Real icon Karim Benzema.

The Italian said: "I understand everything in football. I understood Toni Kroos retiring from football [last summer]. Not many people understood it, but I did. I understand everything. They're individual decisions. But to me, the player [Vinicius] looks happy and excited about staying here and winning trophies with Real Madrid. I think he's thinking about choosing glory."
