At 19:00 CET on August 10, Vinicius paid tribute to the departing Real Madrid captain Carvajal on social media.
Vinicius posted a picture of Carvajal's jersey, which read: "Vini Jr., my friend, I have a special affection for you. You always stand up, give your all, and give everything. You are the best!"
Vinicius captioned it calling Carvajal a legend.
After the 2025/2026 season, Real Madrid captain Carvajal will leave the team, and his next destination has not yet been determined.
