According to the latest report from Mundo Deportivo, Bernal and Gerard Martin are also on Spain's preliminary World Cup squad list.

Reportedly, the number of Barcelona players included in Spain's preliminary 55-man squad has increased to 11, including Bernal and Gerard Martin. De la Fuente submitted this preliminary list to FIFA last week, and the final 26-man official squad will be announced on May 25.

It is still unclear whether Fermin will be selected for the national team, as there were reports today that he is suffering from some physical problems. He was substituted at halftime during the La Liga match against Betis due to discomfort in his right foot's fifth metatarsal, and there are concerns that this might affect his chances of participating in the World Cup.

Key new additions to this preliminary squad include Eric Garcia and Gavi, both of whom have re-entered De la Fuente's consideration. The former played a crucial role in Barcelona winning the La Liga title, while the latter has fully recovered after overcoming recent injuries.

Joan Garcia, Olmo, Ferran Torres, Pedri, Yamal, and Cubarsi, as well as Fermin, are all very likely to make the final squad, with Barcelona once again being one of the clubs contributing the most players to the Spanish national team.
