During the match, Barcelona forward Yamal provoked Sevilla fans twice.
The first incident occurred in the 38th minute when Yamal taunted Sevilla fans with a gesture, which angered Sevilla midfielder Kochorashvili. He approached Yamal, pushed him, and the two got into an altercation.
The second incident happened in the 52nd minute. After shaking off Kochorashvili, Yamal delivered a cross that led to Raphinha's goal. Following the score, Yamal roared in celebration toward the Sevilla fans behind the goal. As teammates joined the celebration, Yamal then celebrated with another roar toward the Sevilla fans in the side stands.
After the match, Kochorashvili and Suárez were interviewed and discussed the first conflict.
Kochorashvili said: "The game is over, there's really nothing more to say. These things often happen on the pitch. But Yamal's gesture was something I really disliked. I told him clearly, and the referee also came over and warned him, so that was the end of it."
Suárez said: "I didn't see what happened, but I told Yamal to stay calm. It was a great game, both sides played well. There's no need to add fuel to the fire."
