Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro was at the heart of the action throughout the derby against Atletico Madrid.
He scored the opener, but was then involved in a controversial incident which led to a VAR review over a potential penalty for a challenge on Alvaro Morata.
"Of course there's contact, but for me it's not a penalty as for that there has to be more," he said of the incident, which didn't ultimately lead to a spot kick.
"There's the referee and there's VAR."
Earlier on, he had conjured up a stunning bicycle kick to open the scoring.
"I knew the ball was going to get there, because we had taken the corner before," he said.
"I saw it well and then they jumped with [Sergio] Ramos, four of them, and I took advantage and scored.
"When you train with [Karim] Benzema, [Gareth] Bale and Vinicius, you learn these things."
