AC Milan sports chief Igli Tare is convinced by the potential of Ardon Jashari.
The Switzerland international's arrival has been overshadowed by Luka Modric's impact, however Tare is excited by what the former Club Brugge midfielder can offer.
Discussing initially the appointment of Max Allegri over the summer, Tare said: "The club supported my opinion of hiring Allegri as coach because his experience and the way he handles different situations with the team, with the club, are all excellent."
Then Modric arrived, but the big gamble was that hotly sought-after Jashari: "He has everything it takes to be a great player."
Meanwhile, Tare's future is clearly defined: "I want to stay at Milan for as long as possible, because it's a club that represents the limit: you can't go higher than Milan.
"Getting to this level required hard work, sacrifice, and passion. It's an honor to be part of this club's history. Being part of this reality makes me very satisfied. From a personal growth perspective, my experience with Milan is fundamental.
"For me, it's not just a club, but an integral part of my experience with Milan is fundamental. For me, it's not just a club, but an integral part of my career and my life. Therefore, it's a spiritual obligation to win with this club and be part of its history."
