Arsenal starlet Folarin Balogun is subject of renewed interest from AC Milan following his breakout season while on loan in France.
The 21 year-old is Ligue 1's top scorer so far this campaign with 14 goals for mid-table side Reims, more than the likes of Paris Saint-Germain's superstar trio Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi.
Balogun's form has unsurprisingly caught the attention of a number of clubs.
Milan have been keen on New York-born England under-21 striker Balogun in the past when he was in Arsenal's youth team and his exploits at senior level have only confirmed his credentials to the Italian side.
Reims's French rivals Marseille and Spaniards Villarreal are also monitoring Balogun ahead of potential summer moves.
Balogun's development and situation has handed a dilemma to both the player and Arsenal.
He will have two years left on his deal in the summer and Balogun has flourished thanks to the regular first-team football he has received in France but faces starting as third choice behind Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah should he return to the Emirates.
Meanwhile Arsenal are expected to decide what is next in their plan for Balogun in the summer, aware that the next window looks set to be the best chance to secure a sum that could represent good value for their academy product, off the back of his prolific Reims spell and also with the time left on his existing contract.
