Charles de Ketelare is confident of his future with AC Milan thanks to the support of director Paolo Maldini.
De Ketelaere has struggled for confidence in his first season in Italy.
But he told HLN: "He is very close to the team and I have an excellent relationship with him as I have with the other players.
"We talk to each other (in Italian) and he makes me feel his trust.
"He is a person who represents Milan and Milan is too important for Maldini."
