Olivier Giroud has declared he wants to stay with AC Milan.
The French veteran was delighted helping Milan reach the Champions League quarterfinals last night after their 0-0 draw at Tottenham. Milan are into the last eight 1-0 on aggregate.
Giroud, off contract in June, said: "Of course I do. I feel very good in Milan, we had a great season last season and this one we want to make a good run in the Champions League. We have the opportunity to qualify for the next edition and that's another goal.
"I do everything to raise young people and help them, tonight we showed a good team spirit and great determination as well as quality and serenity."
On the performance of goalkeeper Mike Maignan, he also said: "He was magnificent, throughout the game he did very well and it's important for the team. Until the end he showed his quality, we knew they could always be dangerous on set pieces and I was a little p***ed that we hadn't scored, we gave them the opportunity to be dangerous but Magic Mike did a great job."
