Fresh off reaching an agreement for Matteo Guendouzi’s arrival from Lazio, Fenerbahce are pushing forward with their transfer ambitions. Determined to strengthen the squad for coach Domenico Tedesco, president Sadettin Saran has turned his attention to Serie A once again, targeting Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman.

Ademola Lookman, currently competing at the AFCON in Morocco, has emerged as a priority for the Turkish club.

According to Hurriyet, Fenerbahce have submitted a concrete proposal: a €5 million loan with a mandatory €30 million purchase option, bringing the total package to €35 million. Atalanta have so far rejected the offer, insisting on an immediate permanent transfer and ruling out any loan arrangement.

The Italian side have also set a firm deadline, stating that even if an agreement is reached, Lookman will not be released before January 28, after the end of the Champions League group stage.
