Ajax goalkeeper Onana: Barcelona? We don't fear anyone

Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana was not getting carried away after his side beat Tottenham 1-0 in London in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal. The Cameroon stopper, who was part of Barcelona's academy, spoke to Movistar after the game but played down the Dutch side's win.

"We have a lot of confidence in ourselves," he said. "We came [to London] with a winning mentality and I am really happy with how we played, but a lot of people think we're now in the final and there's a lot of work to be done. We will have to fight hard at home to make it. If we get carried away, [Spurs] can do us a lot of damage.

"It was a difficult game. We were good in the first half and had lots of chances and when we've had to suffer after the break, we've been able to. It's a good result and you have to congratulate the team's hard work."

On a possible final against ex-club Barca, Onana added: "They're a great team and it would be special to play against them, but that's a long way away. I hope to reach the final and, if we do, I don't care who we play against. I don't mind, having eliminated Real Madrid and Juventus, we don't fear anyone, but there's still a long way to go."
