All you need to know about the 21/22 UCL: Teams qualified, pots, key dates...

With the new season already underway, it's time to take a close look at the 2021/22 Champions League.

The qualification stages are ongoing, but we already know most of the teams who will compete in the group stage and what pots they will be in.

While there are still some details to be filled in, we've got you covered as you look to get an idea of what the competition will look like and when it will take place.

Notably, this season's edition of Europe's premier club competition will feature five LaLiga Santander sides, thanks to Villarreal winning the Europa League.

Teams already qualified

Pot 1: Chelsea, Villarreal, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Lille, Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Pot 2: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund.

Pot 3: Ajax, Leipzig, Atalanta, FC Porto, Zenit.

Possible Pot 3 (depending on coefficents of other teams qualifying): Besiktas, Dynamo Kiev, Club Brugge.

Pot 4: AC Milan, Wolfsburg.

This means that there are still six places up for grabs via the qualification phase, four from the Champions Path and two from the League Path.

As of August 10, the following clubs remain in contention:

Champions Path: Dinamo Zagreb, Legia Warsaw, Cluj, Young Boys, Olympiacos, Ludogorets, Sheriff Tiraspol, Malmo, Rangers, Ferencvaros

League Path: PSV, Spartak Moscow, SL Benfica, Shakhtar Donetsk, Monaco.

Play-offs: August 17-18 and August 24-25
