Fans wanting to see what goes on behind the curtain at the Allianz Arena are about to get their wish after reports suggested that Amazon are teaming up with Bayern Munich over a documentary series.
Amazon have enjoyed a lot of success with their fly-on-the-wall All or Nothing documentaries with Tottenham and Manchester City, and now it appears that the reigning European champions will be the next football club to feature under that banner.
According to SportsBuzzer, Amazon will produce the web series on Hansi Flick and his team with the series likely to be released later this year.
German news outlet Bild are also reporting a possible collaboration between the Bundesliga giants and Amazon.
What remains to be seen is the content of the multi-episodic documentary. Reports from SportsBuzzer claim the series could focus on the club's historic treble-winning season last year while the current campaign will more likely be the focus.
Amazon have enjoyed a lot of success with the All or Nothing series which has seen the clubs involved benefitted financially from it, too.
City and Spurs ended up pocketing £10million after granting unrivalled access to the Amazon cameras, which involved plenty of memorable moments in both series.
With fans still not able to return to stadiums due to the coronavirus pandemic, a deal with Amazon could help offset the absence of revenue from fans enjoying a matchday at the Allianz.
Bayern have been linked with the project since 2018 and it appears the German giants will finally have their secrets revealed later on this year.
