Antonio Cassano has continued his war of words with Jose Mourinho, accusing the Roma coach of 'another s****y look' by bringing up a 'fight' with Marko Livaja at Inter Milan.
The row started when former striker Cassano claimed Mourinho was just 'cinema' and 'doesn't give a s*** about football' after he was linked with a return to Real Madrid.
Mourinho hit back in scathing fashion in a press conference over the weekend, belittling Cassano's legacy and achievements at Real, Roma and Inter.
He also mentioned Croatian forward Livaja, who allegedly had a falling out with Cassano during their time together at the San Siro.
'I will tell Cassano just one thing: careful Antonio, for you are 40 years old and I am 60, at times Marko Livaja types turn up and then it gets tough.'
The supposed argument between Cassano and Livaja wasn't public before Mourinho mentioned it, but the former Italy striker felt the need to bite back in an Instagram video.
'Someone is writing bull**** about what Mourinho said, that then the Livaja situation comes and it gets tough,' he said.
'In my life the hard moments were from [age] zero to 18, because where I lived you had to be smart and clever, or you didn't go on.
'With Livaja, we said words to each other, about everything, me to him and him to me. After two days, we were friends as before.
'My mother taught me, dear Mourinho, not to be afraid of anything or anyone.
'Since someone ratted you out, we had a fight but there were 20 people who got in the way, it never came to a physical confrontation.
'Tell the bunny pretending to know that I never took anything, that's bull****. Another s****y look, besides how you make your teams play.
'But that's a minor question we'll deal with later. In my life I've never taken anything from anyone, I've probably been lucky.
'I say this to you and the sailors, goodbye Mourinho.'
Cassano has taken pops at Mourinho's record in the past but was again critical when reports emerged recently that he could make a sensational return to the Bernabeu when Carlo Ancelotti's contract expires in 2024.
He told BoboTV: 'He can return to Real Madrid if Ancelotti does not continue, but if Los Blancos want a coach, they will not call Mourinho for their new project.
'Mou doesn't give a s*** about football. He doesn't like to work, he doesn't know how to communicate or speak, let's not be fooled by his story.
'I don't know how he achieves those results, because it's just cinema. He was a great coach, but right now he can train Real Madrid, as he can also train San Martines.'
Mourinho hit back in a press conference when Roma beat Torino 1-0 on Saturday.
He said: 'Everyone is free to have their preferences and make their criticism, but when talking about others, like Antonio does, it's different.
'Some of us work in football, he just wants to enjoy himself. Cassano played for Roma, for Inter and for Real Madrid.
'In Madrid he is only remembered for his jacket. With Roma he won a Supercoppa without playing. At Inter he didn't even manage the Lombardy Cup in a friendly.'
Cassano signed for Real in 2006 but failed to have much of an impact at the club amid rows with manager Fabio Capello, Mourinho's 'jacket' jibe was a reference to a flashy outfit worn by the striker for his unveiling in Madrid.
The 'Special One' continued: 'You know what I won with Inter, Real Madrid and Roma. He might have a problem with me, I do not have a problem with him.
'I will tell Cassano just one thing: careful Antonio, for you are 40 years old and I am 60, at times Marko Livaja types turn up and then it gets tough.'
